In a statement issued by Cambodia's Ministry of Defense, it was claimed that the Thai army opened fire on Cambodian forces, thereby Bangkok allegedly violated the agreement to reduce tensions. It was also claimed that Thai fighter jets dropped two bombs on a road in Cambodia.
