The United Arab Emirates has agreed to unfreeze billions of dollars for Iran. Four sources told Reuters news agency. According to the report, two Middle Eastern sources said the UAE will release $10 billion for the Islamic Republic, while two other sources claimed it is about $20 billion - to be unfrozen as a condition for halting Iranian attacks. One of the sources said a first tranche of $3 billion has already been made available to Iran. Reuters noted it is unclear whether the funds originate from Iranian accounts blocked in the UAE or from the country's own funds.
