The secretary of Iran's parliamentary National Security Committee, Behnam Saidi, said that "the Americans have proven time and again that they cannot be trusted. U.S. President Donald Trump has an unstable personality. The U.S. and Israel have violated various clauses of the ceasefire agreement. Any step taken by the Americans will be met with a counter-step by Iran, with much greater force. Any proposal raised by the U.S., whether in the framework of negotiations or other initiatives, should be viewed with skepticism."
