A website called The Punishment For Justice Movement has published targeted threats to murder senior Israeli academics, portraying them as "criminals and collaborators with the occupation army," "distributors of weapons of mass destruction to the Israeli army" and "involved in the murder of Palestinian children." The site includes open calls for violence, offers of financial rewards for attackers and even contact details of regional representatives. Among the listed "targets" are prominent academics, including Ben-Gurion University President Professor Danny Chamovitz and Shakma Bressler, a physicist and researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science and one of the leaders of the protest against the government. The website offers financial rewards for hanging signs in front of the academics' homes ($2,000), burning their vehicles ($20,000) and even executing them ($100,000).
