Report: Trump asked Musk to remove restrictions on Starlink system in Ukraine

|
U.S. President Donald Trump asked SpaceX CEO Elon Musk to remove restrictions on Ukraine's use of Starlink satellites on the battlefield. The Wall Street Journal reported this, citing American sources who noted that the system worked more properly after the conversation between Trump and Musk. Ukrainian sources told the American newspaper that the system was not restored to full functionality, but operated at higher speeds. According to the report, Trump told Musk he was frustrated that the system's speed was limited – something that mainly disrupts drone operations against Russia. Trump said in response to the newspaper: 'I'm not commenting one way or the other. The bottom line is he put it back.'
