A Golani soldier was found dead earlier at a base in northern Israel. The IDF spokesperson announced this, adding that "following the incident, an investigation by the Military Police has been opened, and upon completion, the findings will be forwarded to the Military Advocate General for review." The soldier apparently took his own life.
