Opposition leader Yair Lapid said at the start of the Yesh Atid faction meeting that 'the release of hostage Idan Alexander is both joyful and heartbreaking simultaneously. We are happy to see every hostage return home to their family, to their parents, rescued from hell. But those who remain in the tunnels are Israeli civilians who weren't released because the government didn't make a deal for their release.' Lapid added that 'the Trump administration is acting without coordination and without listening to Netanyahu. They're not interested in Netanyahu's problems with Smotrich and Ben-Gvir. They want results - a ceasefire and a deal.'
