US President Donald Trump said at the White House that Washington is conducting "deep negotiations" with Hamas. According to him, "We said we want all the hostages. If they don't come out - Gaza will be in a tough situation. That's my opinion. It's Israel's choice. The parents (of the hostages) want them." Additionally, Trump claimed that "Out of the 20, maybe some are dead. That's what I'm hearing, I hope it's not true. We are negotiating to get the deceased out too. The parents want them - as if they were alive. It's a sad situation," and said: "I've never seen anything like this, the level of love. I see large protests over the hostages. It puts Israel in a tough position."
