Herzog at Jabotinsky memorial ceremony: 'He repeatedly reminded of the struggle to free our people from captivity'

|
President Isaac Herzog said at the state memorial ceremony for Zeev Jabotinsky on Mount Herzl, marking 85 years since his death: "We must shout his cry today, to all parts of the nation, across the country. We must rise to the magnitude of the hour, continue and persist with all our might in extending a hand - to one another." Herzog added: "I was shocked to hear about the threats to assassinate the Prime Minister." Finally, he said: "As someone who was a prisoner himself, and as someone who held mutual responsibility as his highest priority, Jabotinsky repeatedly reminded of the sacred struggle to free our people from captivity."
