Israel Fire and Rescue Services reported that the incident at the Intel plant in Kiryat Gat involves a substance known as nitrogen trifluoride (NF₃), and as a result, hazardous materials teams are conducting monitoring and risk assessments. It was also reported that firefighters have gained control over the fire source.
