Since the war with Iran and particularly in recent weeks, the security establishment assessment is that Iran, alongside Hamas, will try to harm official Israeli assets abroad. As a result, the Shin Bet security apparatus has deployed "unique technological capabilities" around Israeli diplomatic missions worldwide, official delegations and Israeli aviation targets. Additionally, forces have been reinforced both overtly and covertly in cooperation with local forces, including in areas and facilities of Jewish communities abroad and in waiting areas around Israeli aircraft overseas. These security methods have not been previously implemented in security operations abroad.
