Histadrut corruption case: Arnon Bar David's wife released to house arrest

Hila Canister Bar-David, the wife of Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar David, was released to house arrest as part of the "Hand Shakes Hand" corruption case. She is suspected of accepting bribes, fraud and breach of trust, and after 11 days in detention was released to house arrest where she will remain until December 2. The Histadrut chairman remains in custody and police are expected to request an extension of his detention for the third time tomorrow. Another suspect in the case who was also released to house arrest is Asaf Gabai, the son of the main suspect, insurance agent Ezra Gabai, who is still detained.
