Yair Garbuz, one of the most prominent artists in Israel's history, has died. Throughout his career, Garbuz worked in painting and writing and was known for the satirical column 'Something Else,' his book 'Always Polish' and the television program 'No One to Talk To.' He received numerous awards including the Emet Prize and the Sokolov Prize, but about a decade ago he was at the center of a public controversy when he delivered the 'amulet kissers' speech at a rally held in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv.
