Shas party leader MK Arye Deri attacked the expected alliance between former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Opposition Leader Yair Lapid. "The alliance of hatred returns," Deri said, adding that "the panicked Bennett joins forces with Lapid in an attempt to restore the destructive government of the extreme left and the Muslim Brotherhood. Their common denominator is hatred of tradition and the second Israel, harming Jewish identity, settlements and Torah scholars. He who guards his soul will distance himself."
