The IDF Spokesperson called the explosion of an explosive device that a D9 engineering vehicle drove over in the Gaza Strip "a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement by Hamas." However, the IDF Spokesperson did not update whether it was an old device planted before the ceasefire agreement or a new device. According to the spokesperson, the D9 drove over the device "during routine activity of IDF forces in the Yellow Line area," and there were no casualties. In response, the IDF said it struck Hamas infrastructure used by the organization to advance terrorist operations.
