The State Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against a 16-year-old from central Israel who was arrested on suspicion of working for Iran. The teenager faces security-related charges of contact with a foreign agent and providing information to an enemy. According to the indictment, he maintained active contact with an Iranian agent for several months. The connection was established through the Telegram app, where the agent assigned various tasks to the defendant in exchange for payment. Among other activities, he printed and distributed inflammatory political posters, vandalized public property with graffiti, provided the Iranian agent with exact locations of ATMs in Israel, and even proposed mission ideas himself.
