Jordan's Al-Mamlaka channel reported Monday that a Belgian tourist and her son were killed in flash floods that struck the southern part of the country Sunday. Reports indicated that 18 tourists in the Wadi al-Nakheel area were affected by the floods. Rescue teams successfully located 14 Czech tourists, while four additional Belgian tourists were reported missing. The teams found two of the missing persons, and searches continued into the night before being suspended around 2:00 a.m. On Monday morning searches resumed and the bodies of the mother and son were found.
