Fighters from the police's Gideonim 33 unit arrested two terror operatives in the heart of Ramallah as they were on their way to carry out an attack, in cooperation with the IDF and under the direction of the Shin Bet. This was announced by the police, who stated that the arrest was made following intelligence information indicating the two's intention to carry out an attack, against the backdrop of the arrest of additional cell members last week. One of the suspects, who according to intelligence was carrying a pistol, was captured before he could use the weapon. The suspects were transferred to Shin Bet for interrogation.
