US Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez's office vandalized: 'Funding genocide in Gaza'

|
Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's (AOC) office in the Bronx was vandalized with red paint after she voted last Friday against a proposal to cut half a billion dollars in aid intended for Israel's defense systems. A sign was posted at the location stating: "AOC is funding genocide in Gaza." A group calling itself the "Boogie Down Liberation Front" claimed responsibility for the act and declared that "the Bronx stands with the Palestinian people." Ocasio-Cortez, who herself frequently attacks Israel and accuses it of "genocide in Gaza," wrote on X that the amendment that was overwhelmingly defeated "doesn't stop the bombs killing Palestinians, it just hurts Iron Dome's defensive capabilities."
