The Defense Ministry announced a massive deal worth more than $2.7 billion with Greece's defense ministry, under which Israel will establish a multi-layered defense system in Greece, including an architecture of Israeli systems, among them David's Sling and Spyder systems manufactured by Rafael and the BARAK MX system manufactured by Israel Aerospace Industries IAI. The program, called 'Achilles Shield' in Greece, is one of the largest defense deals in the country's history, and the first time the Defense Ministry will supply a complete defense system against a wide range of threats.
