Police arrested three residents of Iksal and Nazareth, ages 32, 36 and 50, suspected of demanding 1 million shekels in an extortion scheme through threats. The investigation revealed that an error was made in registering the victim's land plot in the village of Iksal, and it was registered under the name of one of the suspects. After the error was corrected, the suspect refused to accept the decision and hired "services" from a crime family. The victim reported that grenades were thrown at his home and at his family members' homes, and when he refused to comply with their demands, he received threats against his life and the lives of his family members. At the conclusion of the investigation, an indictment will be filed against the three suspects.
