Election Committee chair orders Netanyahu and Likud to remove campaign video filmed at the Kirya

|
Central Elections Committee Chairman Justice Noam Solberg issued an interim order to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Likud party to remove a campaign video from their social media accounts. The petition was filed under the Elections Law, claiming the video in question was filmed in the historic building known as 'Ben-Gurion House' at the Kirya in Tel Aviv. The petitioner argued that 'the building constitutes a public asset belonging to the defense establishment,' and that 'filming a campaign video inside it constitutes prohibited use of public resources and state assets for election campaign purposes.'
