119 firefighting teams from various districts are working to extinguish fires in the Jerusalem Hills, supported by 10 firefighting aircraft. According to Fire and Rescue Services, 22 additional teams are making their way to the area. Rescue forces are currently focusing on containing the fire's spread, rescuing trapped individuals and extinguishing fire hotspots, after having rescued nine people who were caught in heavy smoke.
