Uri Portal, 14, who was shot by his friend near the Eleph complex in Rishon LeZion, died of his wounds Sunday at Wolfson Hospital in Holon, it was cleared for publication. According to suspicions, one of the friends, age 16, took his father's weapon and went with two friends for a 'weapons test' in the Rishon LeZion sand dunes after school. They reportedly managed to fire several shots until the 13-year-old accidentally discharged a bullet that hit the 14-year-old in the chest. All three studied at the same school, with the two younger boys being classmates.
