Iranian Intelligence Administration declared that "a terrorist cell was destroyed and one of the largest terrorist plots in the eastern part of the country was foiled." According to them, it was a terrorist cell "with Zionist character" that intended to attack military targets similar to those attacked by Israel during the 12-day war.
