Dedicated support approved for higher education institutions for reservist students, especially combat soldiers

|
All undergraduate students serving in the reserves will receive support and an academic framework this year as well to help them successfully complete their degrees. This was approved by the Planning and Budgeting Committee (PBC) of the Council for Higher Education, as learned by Ynet. In addition, combat students in STEM fields — engineering, computer science, mathematics and exact sciences — will receive an additional aid package due to the difficulty in completing the material in these subjects, and those studying engineering and sciences will also receive personal mentoring to prevent dropout from their studies. PBC Chair Prof. Ami Moyal: 'The investment in reservists is an investment in national resilience.'
