Our people today face a decisive and critical stage, requiring everyone to take responsibility for preserving achievements and moving forward toward freedom and a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital." He added that he is committed to continuing efforts for international recognition of a Palestinian state and full membership in the UN.
