A fragmentation grenade was thrown last night at a building on Shimon Avidan Street in Holon, exploded but caused no injuries and no severe damage. Police have opened an investigation. It appears that whoever is behind throwing the grenade did not intend to cause harm but rather to send a message to one of the building's residents. A strong explosion shook the Vatikim neighborhood in Netanya, where the grenade was allegedly intended for criminal Shai Sasi, who has been the target of several assassination attempts in the past.
