The board of directors of global ice cream brand Ben & Jerry's has labeled the war in Gaza a 'genocide.' This designation marks an escalation in the company's anti-Israel policy, which had announced even before the war that it would stop selling its products in settlements, claiming it 'does not align with their values.' The board's statement said, 'Ben & Jerry's believes in human rights and advocates for peace, and we join those around the world condemning the genocide in Gaza.' The global board has no connection to Ben & Jerry's Israel, which since 2022 has acquired ownership of the brand and sells throughout Israel.
