Thousands gathered in Jerusalem for the funeral of Tzeela Gez, who was murdered Wednesday night in a shooting attack near Bruchin in the northern West Bank. Former Chief Rabbi David Lau spoke at the funeral: "How can one grasp and understand such a great contrast between someone traveling to bring life into the world - and someone who stands to cut life short and murder. How can one understand?" The rabbi added: "What a void you left. I remember years ago at the rabbinical court, when a couple faced difficulties, I asked who from the Samaria region could recommend a capable woman to help. They told me, 'There is one - Tzeela Gez.'"
