Israeli basketball player Deni Avdija continued his impressive start to the NBA season with another standout performance, his sixth consecutive game with at least 23 points. This time he exploded for 32 points, just one point shy of his season high, leading Portland to a 125:117 road victory over New Orleans, snapping a two-game losing streak and returning the Blazers to a winning record of 6-5. Avdija shot 12-of-18 from the field, 4-of-8 from three-point range and 4-of-5 from the line, adding two assists, one rebound and one steal in 35 minutes. Over the last five games, the Israeli is averaging 29.8 points per game, among the highest in the league.
