IDF Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, visited the Beaufort Ridge together with Northern Command Commander, Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo, toured the area, held a situational assessment at the ridge, went underground and spoke with the fighters. "The Beaufort is a strategic dominating area saturated with terrorist infrastructure," he said. "The Lebanese army is required to fulfill its commitment to the historic agreement that was signed and act to purge the area of Hezbollah terrorists.
