Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem was interviewed by Lebanese network "Al-Mayadeen," which is affiliated with Hezbollah, and spoke about a speech he gave after the death of former Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, during which he appeared sweaty. "My appearance was necessary and came at my initiative and in coordination with Hashem Safi al-Din (Nasrallah's replacement). I thought we needed to speak to the people because their situation was very difficult." Qassem explained about his sweaty speech that "security conditions were difficult" and claimed he was filmed "in a room 3 by 3 meters, without air conditioning." In another part of the interview where he spoke about Nasrallah, the Hezbollah secretary-general broke down in tears.
