Death of worker trapped in Ma'ale Adumim: 'Safety regulations don't apply in West Bank, no oversight'

|
The organization "Kav LaOved," which promotes workers' rights in Israel, addressed the death of the worker who was trapped under a cargo lifting system at a factory in Ma'ale Adumim, stating that "this is the 41st fatality since the beginning of 2025, the sixth in the industrial sector. Unfortunately, this is another death that will not be documented by the Ministry of Labor, which does not track fatalities in Israeli factories beyond the Green Line. Safety regulations do not apply there, inspectors do not visit there, and the Safety Administration does not impose sanctions for safety violations. We call for the establishment of a national authority and the formulation of a national plan to address and prevent accidents."
