Alexander (31) and Alexandra (42) Kruglyansky, holders of Israeli and Russian citizenship, were arrested this week at Tivat Airport in Montenegro after allegedly attempting to board a flight to Israel with 26,210 euros and approximately 1,150 shekels, undeclared electronic equipment and materials suspected to be drugs. Local authorities reported that among the confiscated equipment were also devices used for surveillance and espionage, as well as communication equipment. The two are suspected of smuggling and money laundering offenses, and their detention was extended by one month. No formal charges have been filed linking the two to any espionage activity.
