The October Council responded to the High Court of Justice's decision to reveal the name of Lt. Col. Arye Amidror, the officer who served as operations officer of the Gaza Division on October 7, saying the 'decision is worthy and just.' It was further stated that 'Amidror tried to hide his identity and continue his career as if the most terrible disaster in the country's history had not occurred on his watch. He ignored a long list of warnings, particularly the warning attempts by Sergeant V. The state commission of inquiry that must be established immediately after the elections will investigate him as well.'
