The IDF Spokesperson released a recording in which a Gaza Strip resident tells a COGAT officer that Hamas is trying to sabotage humanitarian aid distribution efforts in the Strip, following claims of dozens killed by IDF fire at distribution centers. In the recording released by the military, the Gazan is heard saying that 'those who fired were Hamas members, they want to derail the plan so that aid arrives.' The officer asked him: 'What did you understand about the Rafah incident? What happened there? They said 30-40 people were killed.' To which the Gazan replied: 'I swear to you it's not true, it's a lie, nothing happened. There were wounded, and maybe seven-eight killed.'
