Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu retracted his statement during the government meeting in Dimona, after claiming that a Jew neutralized one of the terrorists in the attack at Bondi Beach in Sydney. "We saw the action of a brave person, and it turns out it was a brave Muslim, and I salute him for stopping one of the terrorists from killing innocent Jews," he said. Netanyahu attacked Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, claiming that "your government has done nothing to prevent the spread of antisemitism in Australia, you have done nothing to cut off the cancer cells that have grown in your country."
