Eyal Zamir strongly condemned the statements made by Democratic Party chairman Yair Golan, who said this morning that "a sane country doesn't kill babies as a hobby," stating that such remarks "cast doubt on the values of IDF operations and the morality of its soldiers." According to the Chief of Staff, "The IDF and its soldiers operate against our enemies with loyalty to IDF values, law and international law, while maintaining an uncompromising commitment to the security of the State of Israel and its citizens."
