Suspicion: Soldier stole weapons and transferred them to civilian who sold them to criminals

An IDF soldier from Moshav Nogah in the south was arrested on suspicion of stealing combat equipment and transferring it to a civilian who sold it to criminals. According to the police statement, during a search of the civilian's home, drugs including cocaine, 'dosa' and cannabis were seized, as well as a Tavor rifle, grenades and ammunition. During a search of the soldier's home, grenades, a vest, bullets and magazines were seized. Both suspects were arrested and transferred for further investigation - the civilian was transferred for investigation at the Lachish District Police Station, and the soldier was transferred for further investigation to the Central Unit for Special Investigations of the Military Police Criminal Investigation Division.
