Netanyahu against two-state solution: 'There is one problem - Palestinians don't want it'

|
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in his speech at the UN that "a two-state solution where Israel lives in peace alongside a Palestinian state? There is one problem - Palestinians do not believe in this solution. They never believed, they don't want a state alongside Israel - they want a state instead of Israel." According to him, "every time they were offered a Palestinian state but were required to end the conflict and recognize the Jewish state - for decades they rejected it. Every time they received territory, they used it to attack us. They had a state in Gaza and what did they do with it? Peace? Coexistence? No. They turned Gaza into a terrorist base."
