The IDF has cleared for publication that Corporal Yaniv Michalovich, 19, from Rehovot, a tank soldier in the 7th Brigade, was killed in northern Gaza Strip by anti-tank fire aimed at a tank. In the same incident where the soldier fell, a tank commander and another tank soldier were seriously injured. An additional soldier was moderately wounded and two others lightly wounded. In another incident in northern Gaza, a soldier from the Egoz unit was seriously injured.
