The U.S. State Department announced it is expanding overland transportation options for American citizens seeking to leave Israel and will cover travel costs. According to the statement, more than 300 citizens have returned to the United States from Israel in recent days, and they are part of a larger group of over 9,000 Americans who have safely returned from the Middle East. The administration is organizing evacuation flights from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, and is assisting citizens in booking tickets for commercial flights in countries where availability exists.
