Arkia has announced it will open a new direct route from Tel Aviv to Manila, Philippines, on January 3, 2027. Initially, one flight per week will operate on Sundays using a GullivAir wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft. The route will run until April, with economy class tickets starting at $750 one way. Arkia will be the first Israeli carrier to set a date for operating a direct route to Manila, after El Al already announced its intention to fly to the destination but has not yet published a date.
