Morocco's King Mohammed VI appointed Fatima al-Zahra al-Mansouri as prime minister. This is the first time a woman will serve in this position in the country. Jackie Kadosh, head of the Jewish community in the Marrakesh region, told Ynet: "Al-Mansouri grew up with us. Her father, Abderrahmane al-Mansouri, was a great lawyer. She grew up in an important family. I took several delegations to her home as part of her role as mayor of Marrakesh and we were like family there."
