Following ynet's exposure of MK Hanoch Milikowsky's intention to replace Yuli Edelstein as chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Edelstein, the current committee chair, tried to pass the IDF Chief of Staff's additions together with Defense Minister Israel Katz. However, Milikowsky began a filibuster with his Likud colleague MK Amit Halevi - until Edelstein was forced to end the discussion without a vote.
