Police Commissioner Danny Levi has ordered an investigation and the appointment of an examining officer following the exceptional demand by Eilat District Commander, Chief Superintendent Eliyahu Shamul, for officers to issue 100 traffic tickets per day. The investigation, following ynet's exposure, will be conducted by a senior officer from the Traffic Division with the rank of Deputy Commissioner.
