Sgt. Asaf Zamir, a tank soldier killed by an anti-tank missile in Khan Yunis, was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Dimona. His father Yarden eulogized: "I can't believe I'm standing here in this place. You were supposed to say Kaddish for me, not me for you. You wanted so badly to bring back the hostages and protect the country. Watch over us from above, send us strength. Thank you for the most beautiful 19 years of my life." His sister Rotem said: "Your soul is with us forever, I know you can hear. You are our hero, the entire country knows it."
