Gantz condemns riots in Benjamin: 'Violence against IDF soldiers is not strength - it's a disgrace'

|
Head of the National Camp party Benny Gantz condemned the settler riots in Benjamin last night, during which they threw stones at soldiers and tried to run them over. Gantz wrote on his X account: "I strengthen the IDF fighters who were attacked by rioters who represent neither the people of Israel in general nor the settlements in Judea and Samaria in particular." He added: "We cannot ignore the fact that for two and a half years, instead of addressing this phenomenon, these marginal and extreme elements have been receiving backing specifically from Ben Gvir and other extreme factors. Violence against IDF soldiers is neither right-wing nor strength - it's a disgrace."
