Starting January 2026, trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange will take place from Monday through Friday, instead of Sunday through Thursday. This was announced in a joint statement by the Israel Securities Authority and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, with the aim of aligning Israel's trading days with global practice. According to the change, trading on Fridays will end at 13:50, "within a reasonable time frame" before Shabbat begins.
